Here are snapshots of what we have been up to.

Our church had a rummage sale to help raise money for our chapel.  Our chapel is over 150 years old and beginning to show.  We need to raise over $30,000 to restore our beautiful place of worship. The rummage sale was just the beginning of our efforts. As a family we cleaned out our house, and boy did we have a great deal to give away!

Here is a picture of our beloved church.

I am still on the no grocery store experiment.  Cooking only from what we have and what we get from our garden.

Middle bit helped me make homemade strawberry grape juice.  All fruit from our garden!

I canned five gallons of salsa!  I won best salsa of the year at my husbands work!  I will show you the trophy soon!

As always, soccer!

Finally we celebrated a birthday of the most amazing man I know.  My husband turned another year older over the weekend.  The kids decorated the house with his favorite things.  I made a homemade white cake with homemade buttercream frosting.  So sweet and so delicious!

As you can see, absent but not bored!  I hope you all are having an amazing fall!
